Optimizing the Correct Images for SEO
There are numerous ways to ensure your articles are far easier to read on the web through the use of SEO. For example, one of the most important aspects of search engine optimization is to ensure your images within an article are snappy and feature short description that can be picked up on by the search engine algorithms.

Selecting Images
It is very important to choose an image related to the text within your article. This is mostly for the user experience, but also to ensure your content is linked in the search engine in a relevant matter.

To start, your images should be high-quality, within the correct aspect ratio for your article, and large enough to be totally visible on multiple devices and computers. Another good tip is to completely avoid using stock photos in your articles. They make the piece look more like a brochure than anything relevant to the reader. At the same time, however, you need to be sure your image is copyright free.

Optimization
If you’re talking about the heat in Miami, you may want to include a picture of a sunny beach, for example. This picture should be the correct size. Most iPhone photos can be in excess of 3,000 pixels wide. This is around 2,500 pixels larger than you actually need, though.

Next, you should focus on the file/title name of each image you upload to your website for use in an article or blog post. Give the image an accurate name, describing its content and perhaps the content of your piece at the same time. This helps when someone searches on the web for anything specific relating to your content or website.

Alt-Text
Your alt-text is the most important of all in terms of online marketing. This is how you describe the image you have used so people can find the content and the topic easily. The description should be clear, concise, but not stuffed with numerous keywords.
